FEAR!!!

"Pollen"
"Pool"
"Pets"

My worst fear would be a combination of all my allergies, Pollen, Chlorine and Cats placed into one situation that I hope will never occur, it would most likely be the end of me.

The set of three prints are for an exhibition on the theme of FEAR at the Amersham Arms (New Cross) on the 7th December and at the Lock Tavern (Camden) on the 15th December curated by both Clinic Collective and Bear Gami.

Rotopol Exhibition!

See pictures from the Secret Service exhibition at Rotopol in Kassel

Ta Da!! this is my piece below that was featured there. It tells the tale of a motorbike hero that helps to save a small English town from the evil secret police.

I thought it would be interesting to give an insight into how I produce some of my work. Below is the sketchbook work that was used to create the piece, using gouache paints as my main medium.

I thought I would have a bash at doing something for Anorak Magazine's competition last month, a few creatures maxing and relaxing in the hot springs is what I thought would be most appropriate.

TIGERS THAT TALKED

This project has been underwraps for a while, but me and Adam Hancher have just finished our second animated short. This time a music video for Leeds based band Tigers that Talked's new single 'Artificial Clouds'. We had a lot of fun working with surreal occurances, and the whole animation side of things was definitely an eye opener (no pun intended) Click HERE to watch it now, hope you enjoy!!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!

As it's now only a week until the skulls and pumpkin heads come out to play, I thought that this post would be most appropriate. If you live in Leeds, a night of scary occurances is going down at the Subculture, so slam on those costumes and go out for a dance.

Fairytale

I recieved an email last week from Lithuanian artist Nerijus Rimkus asking If I would like to submit a piece of work for his FAIRYTALE project. The caption to go with this image above is:

“The beast tumbled to the ground below the mountain, as his insides spilt onto the icey cold snow, astonished villagers gathered to observe the comotion. Two sneaky onlookers grabbed the magical coins that fell beneath their feet and hid them in their trousers, whilst one bearded fellow sitting with his dog threw another golden coin into the campfire. A cloud of multicoloured dust gathered in the white washed sky above.”

The project's only just begun, but I'm really looking forward to see how the rest of the narrative develop's and unfold's.
